Wondering what kind of website you should create today? After surveying over 300+ people in the span of 6 months via phone, online, person-to-person and email, I’ve come up with 100 most creative ideas for a website that the average person could make! I say average person because all of these unique ideas for a website can be started right now, without having to invest a lot of money, or hire expensive professionals.

How Would I Start A Website?

Great question! First, I think you should read all these ideas so that you can get a feel for what kind of website you’d like. This is the first thing I did when I was first thinking about my website.

100 “Original” Ideas for a Website Theme:

After you browse through this list, I’ll have some helpful links for you at the bottom. But the first thing to do is have an idea.

1. Personal Blog: Write about anything and everything in your life, for fun.
2. Your Own Company Website: Create a website for your small business and promote it through social media.
3. How-To-Do-Something website: Where you show people how to do something through a blog, like how to code a website.
4. Review site: Dedicate your blog on reviewing things, and become an Amazon affiliate to get paid while doing it!
5. Adventure blog: Where you document all your adventures of hot air ballooning, sky-diving and surfing. Buy a Go-Pro Camera.
6. Niche Site: Choose a focused topic and only write about that every day. This is what this site is!
7. Online Portfolio: Of your illustrations, designs, or other unique talent(s).
8. Game Development Blog: Create a blog on making games and the development process. Get followers and loyal fans.
9. Painting / Art website: Sell your paintings on your own website that’s connected to Paypal. Sell digital copies for cheap.

85. Highly Debatable Website: Create a site that always takes the other side, and play the devil’s advocate.

88. Meditation website: Where you have your own meditation podcast and a blog on tips to a better mind.
